How did the movement of the Boers into the interior of South Africa affect the people of South Africa?

  The Great trek marked the beginning of European settlement and occupation in the interior of South Africa . The Great trek increased the whites’ population in the interior of South Africa i.e., both the Boers and the British population increased in the interior. The Great trek led to the establishment of the Boers republics in the interiors like the Transvaal, Orange Free State and Natal respectively.
