OBJECTIVES OF UJAMAA OR AFRICAN SOCIALISM IN TANZANIA
African Socialism in Tanzania was adopted through the Arusha Declaration of 1967 and implemented through the Ujamaa scheme / policy. The Arusha Declaration was a government paper that ushered the Ujamaa policy. The Ujamaa policy / scheme referred to the spirit of brotherhood, familyhood.
